Had writer Kalki lived a few more years my guess is he would have written another historic novel on this Chola king.
Though Kalki's famous novel Ponniyin Selvan about Rajajraja Colan, Kalki had more admiration for Rajendran.
(Kalki named his son after him. ) It is unfortunate he died at the age of 55 and we are deprived of many such works.
