It was solved by 3 persons. Professor Kesavan, one amomg those three, later informed me that his grandmother received MBE for her services during the first world war. He also sent me the picures of the medal that has been kept in excellent condition all these hundred plus years! It was news to me and a pleasure to know what one has just heard about has been achieved someone related to the person I know.
