Yesterday's clue:

Occupant team occupies with charges for occupying (8)

Its solution: RESIDENT = SIDE + RENT

SIDE = team

RENT = charges for occupying

Considering that most people got the solution fairly quickly (unlike the unpopular POPULAR last week) I guess this time the puzzle did not occupy your mind much!
