Today's clue:
Plaintiff initially got up confusing court and the district attorney (10)
Its solution: PROSECUTOR = P (plaintiff, initially) + ROSE (got up)
+ CUTOR (confused court)
Thanks to the kind comment by M K Raghavan. Currently there is no plan to do make regular clues. Yesterday I was watching an Italian legal drama in Netflix, and the word prosecutor kept coming. As the word split so naturally an idea for the clue emerged.

A *prosecutor* is a legal representative of the prosecution in countries with either the common law adversarial system, or the civil law inquisitorial system. The prosecution is the legal party responsible for presenting the case in a criminal trial against an individual accused of breaking the law.
In the United States, a district attorney (DA) or state's attorney is the chief prosecutor for a local government area, typically a county.

*It was Christmas time, and the judge was feeling a little benevolent and filled with holiday spirit.*
“What exactly is the charge?” he asked counsel.
“The man standing before you is charged with doing his Christmas shopping early.”
“Shopping early?” the judge replied. “Well, what’s wrong with that?”
The prosecutor replied, “He was doing his shopping before the stores were open.”
